Event: Open Door Scheme
Open Door is a non-profit organisation that helps young people who do not have the resources to secure a place at one of the UK’s leading drama schools.
It is a 8 month part time course designed for students age 17-26 based in Sheffield and Rotherham who are serious about pursuing a career in Acting and Backstage or Production Arts but need some help getting there.
Successful applicants will receive: free auditions, free travel to any drama school outside the region, bespoke workshops and mentoring led by industry professionals. There will also be free theatre trips followed by discussions, help with bursaries and funding advice.
