Event: In Your Own Words: Storytelling Open Mic at Yours
Wednesday 20th May, 6pm - 7:30pm
Join the Sheffield Hallam University Creative Writing department for a night celebrating words. This open mic event is open to stories (fiction and narrative nonfiction), spoken word, and poetry. For the purpose of this event, pieces may take the form of prose fiction, narrative nonfiction (creative nonfiction), spoken word, monologue, and poetry. In Your Own Words is sponsored by the SHU Creative Writing Masterclass, all are welcome!
To share a 3-5 minute piece (stories, extracts, prose poems, personal essays), please email Yvonne at y.battle-felton@shu.ac.uk by Monday, 18 May.
