Event: Online UCAT course at the University of Sheffield

University of Sheffield are excited to offer their free online UCAT Preparation course for eligible Year 12 students who wish to apply to Medicine or Dentistry.
The UCAT Preparation Course will consist of five one-hour sessions on Zoom, each focusing on a different topic of the UCAT, with one session delivered a week between the 10th July to 7th August. The course will be delivered by university staff and students and the topics they will offer you support with are:
Week 1 – 10th July: Verbal Reasoning
Week 2 – 17th July: Decision Making
Week 3 – 24th July: Quantitative Reasoning
Week 4:- 31st July Abstract Reasoning
Week 5- 7th August: Situational Judgement
To be eligible for the UCAT Preparation course, students must meet certain academic and Widening Participation criteria, therefore we encourage applications from students from groups which we have identified as being under-represented in our Access and Participation Plan, which is available in our Access and Participation Plan.
We would be most grateful if you could pass this information on to your students. Applications must be made on an individual student basis (rather than full classes). Places will be limited so an early response is highly recommended to avoid disappointment
