Outreach at Sheffield Hallam University
Funded by Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Sheffield, Hepp brings together all those with an interest in promoting higher level education and skills to young people and adults across South Yorkshire.
This strategic partnership encourages:

Law Explorer Programme
The Law Explorer Programme is an initiative designed to give Year 12 students an authentic insight into studying LLB (Hons) Law at Sheffield Hallam University. The programme aims to have a strong impact on student aspiration, engagement, and progression into higher education.
Across three immersive days on campus, students will experience:
• Interactive Law course talks & taster sessions
• Thought provoking personal challenges to test reasoning and values
• Guided tour of Redmires, our cutting-edge Social Sciences building
• Behind the scenes look at the Hallam Legal Advice Centre
• 1:1 CV and personal statement support to help students stand out
• Inspiring alumni talks showcasing real career journeys
• Student life and Student Union insights
The programme offers a valuable opportunity for young people to explore the legal sector, build confidence, and discover what studying at Sheffield Hallam is really like.

Hallam Progress provides support for applicants to Sheffield Hallam University whose personal circumstances might mean that there are barriers to going to university.
The scheme provides additional support in the year of application and throughout the application process, including your transition to becoming a university student.
