Event: Food and Nutrition Taster Day – Engaging Opportunity for Year 12 Students

We’re inviting Year 12 students to experience the exciting world of Food and Nutrition through a hands-on Taster Day at Sheffield Hallam University. This event is designed to give students a real insight into what studying Food and Nutrition at university is like and the career opportunities it can lead to.
Students will also gain insight into how to pursue a degree in Food and Nutrition and understand the application process.
Activities include:
⚖️ Learning how to measure calorie use in the body
👅 Investigating people’s perception of taste
🦗 Exploring if insects can be used as food
