Event: World Book Day: Poetry Slam
Thursday 5th March, 9:30am - 3:30pm
Join their poetry slam workshop to celebrate creativity on World Book Day!
Students will work with a professional poet, Joe Kriss, who has performed his work at venues such as the Tate Modern, the National Media Museum and the Crucible Theatre. Joe will introduce students to spoken word poetry and guide them through interactive exercises to encourage them to write their own poems. The day will end in their very own poetry slam – with prizes!
