Event: Virtual Schools Hub, The University of Sheffield


The University of Sheffield’s Virtual Schools Hub offers information, advice, and guidance for anyone thinking of going to university. There is a wide range of resources available for students considering higher education, information for parents and guardians, as well as support for educational staff based in sixth forms and FE colleges.

Resources available on the virtual hub include:
– Virtual talks on a wide range of topics, including navigating the UCAS application process, and how to choose a course and university
– Videos from recent Sheffield graduates on their own experiences as students, including the benefits of going to university
– Debunking myths about higher education, and answering frequently asked questions
– Dedicated advice and support for parents and guardians, to support young people applying to university
– Presentations, useful links, and resources for teachers and advisors to utilise with their students
