Event: University of Cambridge Outreach Bus

Introducing The Homerton College Access Bus initiative- where Homerton College, University of Cambridge, come to you to collect groups of students and bring them to Homerton for an all-expenses paid, enriching visit!

What? The premise is simple: a coach (paid for by Homerton’s Access and Outreach Team) will drive to a Homerton Link Area to pick up groups of highly-able students from different schools in the Link Area. The coach will then drive to Homerton, where they will receive an all-expenses-paid day of academic workshops, information and guidance sessions and interactive group seminars, with time for a free lunch and informal Q&A and tour of Homerton led by current undergraduates. At the end of the day, the coach leave Homerton to drive students and teachers back to their schools. There will be a Homerton staff member on the inbound and outbound coach journey to accompany students.

Who?  Up to 15 of your most highly able students in either Y9, Y10 or Y11 to join one of the Autumn Access Buses, along with 1 accompanying teacher per school group
