Event: SHU Progress June transition event

Sheffield Hallam University are running an exclusive event for SHU Progress members on 29 June 2023 5:15-7:30pm, on City Campus.

SHU Progress provides support for Sheffield Hallam applicants whose personal circumstances might mean that there are barriers to going to university. Our eligibility criteria is available here.

The scheme provides additional support in the year of application and throughout the application process, including your transition to becoming a university student.

The evening will be a one-stop shop to answer any questions you may have and give you useful information about the next stages of your journey. Various departments from Sheffield Hallam will be on hand to talk to, including Student Funding, Admissions, Careers, Disabled Student Support and Accommodation.

The event will include information on:

• Clearing and your transition to becoming a university student
• Student funding and managing money at uni
• Support provided by the Inclusive Support team
• Careers and employability
• Study support available via the Skills Centre
