Event: Sheffield Hallam’s Health & Social Care offer for Schools & Colleges


Sheffield Hallam offer a hybrid-approach for all of their Health &Social Care sessions, with each session available to book either online or in-person. If you are interested in inviting them to deliver a session then please get in touch. They can offer the following sessions:

Health & Social Care Overview (Post 16) –
A comprehensive and engaging introduction to studying Health and Social Care courses at university level. The session covers the breadth of courses available at Sheffield Hallam and the professional opportunities they provide, as well as advice and guidance on application processes and student finance.

Mature Students H&SC Overview (Post 16) –
A session designed specifically to support mature students considering Health and Social Care courses, which covers course options, student support, and student finance.

Heal or No Heal (Pre 16) & Celebrity Hospital (Pre & Post 16) –
Heal or No Heal and Celebrity Hospital are sessions are designed to introduce students to the wide range of careers available in the Health and Social Care sector. The game-show style activities have been created to engage Y7 to Y9 (Heal or No Heal) and Y10 – Y12 (Celebrity Hospital) in a fun and interactive way, opening up the breadth of subjects and professions.
