Event: Sheffield City Trust – Funded Lesson Project

This exciting new project that SIV are running across all of their leisure centre’s. SIV are the operational arm of Sheffield City Trust, whose primary role is to benefit the Health and wellbeing of the people in Sheffield.

The aim of the project is to give an opportunity to 500 children across Sheffield to participate in one of their coached lesson programs and the best part, is that this is for FREE! The sports that they are offering lessons in are Athletics, Gymnastics, Trampolining, Football, Ice Skating and Swimming; all of which are taught by fully qualified coaches. They will also be providing some basic sports apparel/equipment for each child that enrolls. Lessons will start in January and will consist of a 10 week block of lessons, one lesson per week; the duration of the lesson will vary depending on the sport. For your child to be eligible for this program they must:

– Be eligible for free school meals
– Not already be enrolled in lessons for their chosen sport with SIV

If your child meets these requirements, please complete the application form and return as soon as possible. Once returned, your child’s application will be processed and we will contact you if your application is successful to arrange a lesson time. Please be aware that spaces are limited and they cannot guarantee spaces for all returned applications.

Register via application form and send to jordan.coates@siv.org.uk
