University of Sheffield Science and Careers Talks for Schools

Event: University of Sheffield Science and Careers Talks for Schools

University of Sheffield have a range of talks suitable for students across Y9-13 to raise awareness about courses and careers in science.

These 30-60 minute sessions aim to support students with key subject choices, and provide an excellent opportunity for them to engage with staff and current students at the University.

Students can hear from our own student ambassadors about what it’s like to study a science degree, as well as getting an overview of the courses and career opportunities available.

Our “Careers with…” sessions for Biosciences, Chemistry, Physics, and Psychology short talks provide a deeper look into where these degrees can lead, with examples from our own graduates and an overview of the graduate jobs market in those sectors.
