Event: Half Term Virtual Taster Day
Deadline for sign-up: Tuesday 27th October, 12pm
Magdalen College is pleased to run their half term virtual outreach event aimed at Y10, Y11 and Y12 students and teachers from state-run schools in the following regions: Barnsley, Brent, Nottinghamshire, Rotherham, Sheffield and Westminster. Parents/family members/carers of applicants are also welcome to join.
The event will begin with an ‘Introduction to Oxford’ session by an outreach officer, a virtual tour of Magdalen college and a session on applying to Oxford. This will be followed by a live Q&A with a panel of current students, outreach officers and academics from Magdalen College. You’ll also receive follow up support in the form of various resources we have available.

They will be hosting two identical events during October half term:
- Wednesday 28th October- Join: 13:45, Start: 14:00, Finish: 16:00
- Friday 30th October- Join: 10:15, Start:10:30, Finish: 12:30

- Be from one the following regions: Barnsley, Brent, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, Rotherham, Sheffield, Westminster
- Attend, work at or be the family member of someone attending a non-selective state school
Sign up closes at noon on the 27th October but we recommend you sign up prior to this as there are limited spaces available.
Details on how to join the event digitally via Microsoft Teams will be shared by email prior to the event. Be ready to join the meeting at 15 minutes prior to the start time.
