High-Rise Mystery is this month’s Book-Able Space Middle-Grade book-club book!

You’ll be reading the book for the month of November. Post questions for the author or for readers on the Facebook page under High-Rise Mystery questions (author or reader). Sharna will join you on Facebook Live to read from the book and answer questions.

To participate in the month’s book club, get and read the book through the month. Register to watch the live event, like the Bookable Space Middle-Grade Book Club page and/or subscribe for notifications. And that’s it.

About the book:

About the author:

Sharna Jackson is an author and curator who specialises in developing and delivering socially-engaged initiatives for children and young people across culture, publishing and entertainment.

Her debut novel High-Rise Mystery released in 2019 has won numerous awards and accolades including Best Book for Younger Readers at the 2020 Waterstones Book Prize and Sunday Times Book of the Week. The sequel, Mic Drop, was released in 2020. Sharna also develops books to encourage participation in the arts, with two activity books released with Tate in 2014. She was Southbank Centre’s Imagine A Story Author in 2019/20 creating London/Londoff with over 1200 school children in the capital.

Sharna lives on a ship in Rotterdam, Netherlands
