Event: Book-able Space Book Club (8-12): Anisha Accidental Detective

This project is a monthly online book club for readers 8-12 (and people who love children’s books). On the last Saturday of the month, the author will read and answer questions on Zoom. Sponsored by Sheffield Hallam University.

To participate in the month’s book club, get and read the book through the month. Register to join them in Zoom (children must be accompanied by an adult) or watch on Facebook live, like the Bookable Space Middle-Grade Book Club page and/or subscribe for notifications.

About the Author: Serena Patel is the author of the Anisha, Accidental Author series which won the Sainsbury’s Children’s book Award for Fiction. She lives in the West Midlands with her family and has worked as an events co-ordinator for a number of years. Serena believes all children deserve to feel seen in the stories they read and that books are an important tool for empathy. When she’s not writing Serena enjoys watching movies, reading and eating cake. Chocolate cake preferred.
