Event: Animal Academy
RVC’s Animal Academy supports people from under-represented backgrounds to reach their goals of studying and working with animals. By signing up to be a member, you’ll have access to exclusive help, advice and events about animal careers, going to university, and of course learning from their RVC animal experts!
Animal Academy is a Widening Participation programme – a national strategy to eliminate the gaps between the most and least represented groups at university, and ensure everyone has equal access to higher education.
To join the Animal Academy you must be 13 years old or more, and attend a state school (not independent/private school) in the UK. You will also need to meet some of our other criteria, e.g. being the first in your family to go to university, being eligible for Free School Meals, or lots more – see the Animal Academy web page for more information.
