ElevatED Project

Event: ElevatED Project

11th and 12th April, 2022

The Easter half terms is fast approaching and HeppSY has a fantastic free programme to offer to Y12 /Lvl 1 learners studying on a level 3 course (i.e. A-Levels, BTEC Nationals). ElevatED is a project which aims to increase participation of learners to highly selective universities such as those from the Russel Group, Durham, Cambridge and Oxford.

The ElevatED programme is running virtually on the 11th and 12th of April.

Current university students will be offering their tips and guidance about applying to competitive courses as part of guided panel discussions. There will also be practical help and tips on applying for competitive courses, admissions tests and choosing the correct course from HeppSY, Cambridge and the University of Sheffield. Sessions include Writing Personal Statements for Competitive Courses, Applying to Collegiate Universities and Supercurriculars.

The programme will be running from 10.00 – 16.00 on both days with regular breaks and intervals for learners to take a break from their screens and grab lunch and a cuppa.

Find out more information here.

Attendance from both learners and parents is encouraged and for those signing up and registering interest we just ask that they use an email address that they are able to access over Easter so that meeting links and the full timetable can be shared with them.

If you have any questions about the project then please get in touch with Jacob Flannery at j.flannery@shu.ac.uk
